WTF: PSU interviewed two yrs/wtlisted 2yrs!?!

Fellow SDNrs, I am currently in a massive funk as I just found out in my second year applying that I've been placed on the post interview "hold list" at PSU? I interviewed there with the same outcome last year and again early Oct. in the current cycle. I was on their waitlist through mid august for incoming 2004 class and then invited for interview in late september...There must have been some attraction--at least I thought so. I'm a competent applicant w. 1.5 yr 4.0 p-bacc and so-so undergrad at good school with avg MCATs and good ECs. No love.

When were you waitlisted last year? was it later than this year? because if the wl isn't ranked, you stand a good shot at getting in since you were waitlisted pretty early in the year.

If the wl is ranked on the other hand......talk to the admissions director.
