First achiever test run today, test 1.

BIO: 21
GCHEM: 25
OCHEM: - (haven't finished studying)

PAT: 19
RC: 15 !!! 8th Percentile??????? 92% of all test takers got scores higher than me?!?!
QR: -

How can i improve RC? I have about a month and a half and i am desperate after reading my scores.

I have always known myself to have a giant reading comprehension problem. The question I got wrong in genchem was the one where I misread real gases to ideal gases. I always had problems reading, and would need to repeatedly read something 4-5 times to get the whole idea in my head. Things just don't get through! It is probably because I read so rarely outside of studying for tests.

I retain so less information, it is not even funny =3=. Would anyone know a sure-fire strategy for anyone who does not want to read to get 20+ on the RC section? or at least 18+.

Oh, as well, I am wondering. Is the RC section included in the academic average? :scared:

RC is included, and if it makes you feel better, my Achiever RC scores were 21/23/23, and I scored 28 on real thing. 👍

I really struggled with the RC on those achiever tests. I got a 15 and 17, but on the real thing I ended up with a 21. I think the achiever tests throw passages at you that will be comparable to probably the hardest passage you can see on the DAT to prepare you for the worst. I would suggest practicing Search & Destroy if you struggle comprehending things

phew, i can breath out a sigh of relief. Except for the part about RC being included into AA >_<

I guess i should practice more regardless. don't want that RC score to pull down my probably high AA :[
