If from New York, you might want to consider Israeli medical schools or St. George U. Those schools both have a track record of graduating New Yorkers and putting them in residencies there. Still, you shouldn't have illusions about what you are getting if you go to a foreign school...I have a friend who is a foreign grad US citizen and who did multiple surgical prelim years before settling into an anesthesiology spot. I definitely don't think this school you mentioned would be worth the risk. Do your homework before you send them any money or go down there. What percentage of their students actually graduate and get a US residency? Don't believe what any Caribbean school says...do your own research.
p.s. I think you meant "their", not "there".
