Do the labor/union issues with the ancillary and nursing staff have any bad effects on the anesthesia residency at Yale?

We spend most of our time in the OR and I don't see a problem there. We're not slowing down our daily OR schedule even though hospital has no beds right now. And since there is no shortage of cases, I can't think of a reason why any staff issues hurt us. You have to do your own room setups, but the techs usually bring you stuff when you need it. The other programs may suffer because there is more scut.
