Hey everyone,

I was wondering your thoughts on the Yale program. I've received interviews at a few big names (Mayo, CCF, MGH), but after interviewing at Yale, I think I could be really happy at that program.

What are your thoughts on how Yale compares to these other programs? Will it be easier to get a fellowship if I go to one of the other "more well recognized" programs? Hope everyone's having good luck this interview season.

Thanks.

Yale is plenty well recognized. You would be fine getting fellowship from any of the institutions listed. Truly you would be fine getting fellowships from 95% of the programs in the country. Rank how you feel you fit in best and don't worry about name as if you are happy you will perform better and will be better off when applying to fellowship versus performing poorly cause you are miserable at a high name place (not that Yale is a 'low' tier program at all).

Plus just because you liked Yale there is more to the process then that, so rank how you like and see where the cards fall. It is only December so other programs may still impress you more but at the end if Yale is your favorite it should rank #1 without question.
