I'm closing up my 1 yr GPR and wondering how it compares to everyone else's experience. I can honestly say I'm shocked at how much I've learned and how completely different of a clinician I am from when I started, but it hasn't been all sun shine and rainbows. Call has been brutal covering two level 1 trauma centers in a major city where OMFS only takes over if a pt needs to go to the OR, I&D's, trauma etc etc. Consults for all cardiac surgery's, solid organ transplants, chemo clearance, H&N radiation the list goes on and on. So how has your experience been, hospital exposure, OR exposure general dentistry, etc. Would you definitely do it again?
