I've tried googling this, but I can't find much information. Is there any comprehensive list somewhere that shows which med-schools participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program?
Thank you.

The only resource I've been able to use is the standard list of participating YRP programs from the VA. Some schools will say their entire university participates (which would presumably include the med school), and some will specify that the med school gives x amount of money to x amount of students.

I don't understand the "number of students" part. Does this mean I have to compete with other veterans to see who gets to use it? Is it first come first serve? I didn't think this program was a scholarship, thought it was just part of the GI bill.

For the schools that do not accept unlimited students, I guess it is first come first served. The program is really just the school giving you more benefits than the GI Bill can give you, so it's ultimately up to them how many students they'll give it to and how much money they'll put in. Some (e.g. Drexel) will take unlimited students and spend unlimited money.
