List needs some work. Remove Michigan, Ohio state, and Marquette. I know they're midwest schools but you'll be considered OOS and need a higher GPA. Add roseman, NYU, tufts, UNE, and midwestern-IL. When the app opens in October for the brand new dental school in NY called touro, send your app to them too.

I wouldn't remove Marquette. I know many people who got accepted there with lower GPA even though they were OOS. Definitely apply there!

^just to add, I was listening to this podcast the other day, and a dentist who was being interviewed said that he got rejected from dental schools 20 times before he was accepted into Marquette on the 21st try..

No, 3 years. He applied to 10 schools, and got rejected from all. Then, a year later, he applied to 10 more. Again, all rejections. Finally, a year later, he applied to more schools, and was accepted into Marquette. He had to put himself through college and worked 3 jobs at a time. Graduated with no debt, but with not the best grades. Very inspirational story actually! He's a great speaker too.

that's more like a third try then. Not to nitpick, that wording was very loosely used and was confusing
