specifically for the ladies...

i just bought a black skirt suit. the jacket is single breasted, 3 buttons. the skirt falls right at the top of my knee.
so my stupid question is.. do you think it would be appropriate to wear a nice shell or t-shirt under the jacket rather than a collared blouse? my mom and sister say to go with the t-shirt, its real light pink, stretch, from the gap. my boyfriend thinks i should wear a blouse. what do you think?
and for panty hose... i am soooo pale. should i go with nude or really sheer black?

Sorry but I agree with your boyfriend. The blouse is the more correct thing to wear.

As for panty hose, either one would be fine. I wore a pale black with my grey suit coat and skirt, but I brought both colors and just happen to pull that one out of my suitcase first.

chrisobean, i personally think admission officers prefer to see 2 breasts instead of a single one...just my advice though

wear the shell. i wore a lavendar top with my suit. i got really tired of the blouse-suit combo. and your top's pink? that's so appropriate for feb. 🙂 good luck with your interview!

oh, and one more thing....bring an extra pair of pantyhose to the interview-put in your car, purse, whatever. I snagged my hose on a shrub getting out of my car, which made a HUGE run and I felt self-conscious about it the entire day.
