I got an 89.4 in an anthropology class and the professor (who was trying to prove something) gave me a B. Although that is the grade that my percentage would have earned me, it took me a while to get over it. What kills me is that when I asked her what my grade was after the final she said B. I said ok. Then she said it was an 89.4%. Really!? Four days before Christmas. Why would you do that to somebody? That's like hanging a piece of candy on a string and dangling it in front of a kid, out of reach.
You'll move on, but I agree it is frustrating and it will take time. Best of luck to you.

Just wait until Dental School where an 89.99 is a non-negotiable B.I got an 89.4 in an anthropology class and the professor (who was trying to prove something) gave me a B. What really stinks is that an A- according to AADSAS is equal to 3.667 not a 3.7.
The A- screws you out of an A then AASAS screws you out of your 3.7 lol.
I'm with you though... I hate to get A- vs A's.
yea...and i hate getting a B+ instead of an A-. I also hate getting a B instead of a B+, and so on.

You get B's?
J/k

At the Univ of Oregon, you get an extra 0.3 for an A+, making it possible to achieve a GPA higher than 4.0
Which ends up being the only good thing about the academic side of the University of Oregon.
I thought their human phys department was excellent. I learned more there in a year than I did 4 years at UC Davis. They also have a great anatomy program. 8 cadavers and aside from simply taking anatomy, there's an opportunity to dissect/prosect them as an undergrad? I think that's pretty cool.
I was lucky to have my very own head and neck to work on. An entire quarter of learning everything I was going to be doing in anatomy during dental school. I thought it was a VERY valuable experience that will serve me well come my first year.
Don't most undergrad institutions have cadavers to dissect?
I was a human phys major there as well and I'll agree that the human physiology and anatomy classes were valuable, but trying to get teacher help in any class was like getting a root canal without any anesthetic: unnecessarily painful and hard. The only exception on that entire campus was anatomy lab, and even then you were getting help from TA's and GTF's.
I loved the physiology classes, but it wasn't until I took anatomy at Midwestern that I learned how much harder they made that class than it needed to be. However, take my opinion with a grain of salt because I had a jaded experience that I won't explain on a public forum.
most courses in my univ dont even have A+'s
Most universities don't even have A+'s.
Mine doesn't! Thank God! An A is an A..is an A! More like 89.5, because most will round up! Woohoo 😀
It would be better if they had A+s; if they get an A they get a 4.0, an A+, a 4.3.
