I'm a first time applicant and I'm pretty sure I was pre-verified. (Verified since I submitted). Maybe because all of my transcripts were in somewhat quick? (10th).

Yeah my transcripts were received the 10th and the 18th (with the vast majority of my coursework on the earlier transcript) so hopefully mine gets verified soon as well. I know it doesn't really matter much if I'm verified now or two or even three weeks from now, I just had a couple of challenge/experiential credits that I'm not sure if I entered them right or not. Verification would bring peace of mind, well at least a little more peace of mind!

I didn't advocate applying in March - just saying it has happened. I advocate not submitting a mediocre app on June 1st because SDN told you to vs. sending a stellar app on June 30th because you let an English professor or someone help you with it. I've probably read a hundred personal statements on here over the years, some of them re-applicants from which I requested their original PS, and I think to myself, "No one read this for them, ever." You would be surprised the things people submit to AACOMAS.

I totally agree there! All June is early...no real difference in the first few weeks, and I know you know this. You have given great advice I've seen in other threads and I was replying a but tongue and cheek.

But, sharing a story about someone getting in applying in march? I think that's misleading, so I commented to set the record strait. An Early application isn't just an over zealous, over achievers goal. It's an actual boost to an application. If you want an English teacher to help with your app...do it, but be ready by June first. It's just too easy for June 30th to turn into July 14th then August 1st, etc.

AACOMAS only releases your applications to schools every Tuesday, so today. But the release date might not show up until Wednesday or Thursday (when schools download them).
