Your business cards; how to best portray your specialty?

Alright I admit right off the bat this is not the best of my posts.

I need to make up some new business cards. Toying around with how to describe my specialty:

Ligament
Board Certified, Pain Medicine and Physiatry

or

Ligament
Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Physiatry

or

Ligament
Board Certified, Pain Medicine

or

Ligament
Interventional Pain Management


two more things:
1. Yes, I'm serious and I'm probably crazy to care about this.
2. All suggestions welcome

What do hope they accomplish? Think about their purpose, and who it is you will be distributing them to. Do you want general PM&R referrals? Medication management referrals? Think about the end user, and take your ego out of the decision.

From a different perspective, while the ABPM&R and ABPM offer diplomate status which can be abbreviated, I am not sure what additional abbreviations could be added to your card to indicate sub-specialty certification in pain.

i agree with marketing - you want to target the right audience

if you want to do med management then Pain Management
if you primarily want to do injections then maybe Interventional Spine Specialist

Tenesma, M.D.

and that's it --- well except for address, phone, etc..

Mine is printed on 0.20 mil aluminum. I have a separate card for patients.

I blurred my cell and email.

gorback you crack me up considerably.....i try to cater to young athletes cuz that's what i am(i will wake up soon).....my card says in this exact alignment:

Board Certified Pain Medicine
Board Certified Physical Medicine
And Rehabilitation/Sports Medicine

I know I am nitpicking, but are you board certified in sports medicine? Cause that's what your card says!

i have a buddy in Dallas (pretty competitive pain market) and his business card has every procedure known to man listed on the front AND back of his card --- it is kind of sad....

The green is darker when on the semigloss aluminum.

MCloone business cards made mine up.
They look spectacular and have a wonderful feel.
When I give out my card, people stop talking and focus on the card for a minute.

actually my card doesnt say im board certified in sports medicine....it has a dash. It is obvious on the card. It helps me let young people know that i treat young people too.
