Hi all, about 3 months ago I left my job. Not because I want to, but because I was threaten that I will be terminated if I don't leave. You may think this sounds funny/dumb but two weeks after I found out that in hospital settings that I cannot be terminated without proper documentations stating that I was incapable of doing my job. Shortly after, I came and spoke to my boss and ask him where did I go wrong? He told me that some staff member were not confidence in my abilities to compound IV meds. I asked him why were they not confident and he answer because I had to remake some IV meds and my reply to him was "all of us had to remake IV meds," and he agreed. Unfortunately the slow me was satisfy then that I didn't go wrong, my employee evaluation was good. However, I knew I was discriminated on the job. If I were to apply for another intern position, can my boss talk bad about me?

Depends on what state you live in. States like Oklahoma are right to work where you can be terminated for good cause, morally wrong cause, or no cause. Did they offer severance if you resigned? Hope so. You should have taken the severance and let them fire you.

You resigning = you cannot collect unemployment.

General rule, when a place is threatening to fire you, that means they do NOT have enough documented reason to fire you, so they are trying to get you to quit. Quitting is a bad idea.
As for your boss talking bad about you.....to avoid lawsuits, most workplaces will only verify employement dates and whether or not you are eligible for rehire. So most likely your boss won't talk bad about you, at least officially. Will he bad mouth you off the record at pharmacy dinners or what not? I think its probably unlikely that you will remain on his mind for him to badmouth. Certainly possible, but probably unlikely.
My advice for you in the future, if you are in such a situation again, remember that your employer does not yet have reason to fire you, which is why they are talking with you. At that point, ask what the problem is, ask for specifics on what you can to fix the problem (or perceived problem), and then do everything reasonable to meet your employers expectations.

Thanks, so I can go in an interview and say that I resign from my position and make up reasons why I left and I should be fine?

EDIT: nvm, I think you answer it already.
