I heard from Birmingham Baptist in Alabama today, and when I emailed back just a few hours after getting the email, all dates were full and I was wait-listed for one. I guess this is typical of transitional year interview season...??
 
Prelim Medicine interview offer at Maryland Mercy Hospital (invite received 10/4). They had a large number of open days when I called this morning still. Anyone know much about this program?

You would think I want to be in Baltimore, but I'm not so sure (long story there - it's my back up for DC considering there's only 5 programs there).

Anyone hear from programs in DC, PA or MA yet?

If you do it politely I think it would be ok but don't overdo it. A quick email would probably suffice.

I think I got a UCLA TY interview today:

I submitted my application the first possible day (Sept 1, I think). Step 1 = 238. Step 2 CS = Pass. Haven't taken CK yet.

I did a bit of application over kill (30ish programs) because I'm so up in the air on what is the best geographic location for me.

Anyone hear from any DC programs?

I was getting nervous, so I contacted a couple I am really interested in and they said they don't send out invites until mid November
