MD & DO 3.5 GPA, 508 MCAT, Texas Resident

Hello everyone!

I have two main questions: (1) What are my chances and (2) What schools should I apply to.

My story: I graduated from a top 20 undergraduate school with a 3.3 GPA. Then, I took many post-bacc classes at another 4-year university and received a 4.0 GPA. My overall GPA (science and cumulative) after taking post-bacc classes is a 3.51 and 3.52. I took the MCAT and received a 508. I have a lot of extracurricular activities, clinical experience, and work experience. I am also a Texas resident.

George Washington
Tulane
Wisconsin
Vermont
UC Davis
Washington

Also, I am confused about which DO schools to apply to.

Since you are not a resident of Washington or Wisconsin you can delete those schools. UC Davis is also a reach. For MD schools you could add:
Quinnipiac
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Roseman (new school that expects to open for 2017)
You are competitive for any DO school with your stats so apply to at least 8 and you should receive several interviews.
