Saw this yesterday.

Tried looking for more information but couldn't find anything.

Odd case.

They did state she had cervical insufficiency though. Did she have a cerclage? Was she rolling around in pain acting like she was in labor?

Hard to say with the vague press release.

Places wonder why they can't have functioning labor and deliveries that are appropriately staffed...

These lottery like settlements are absurd though.

Malpractice policy for the physician is typically $1 million.

Usually the hospital is also named in the suit and they are the ones on the hook for the largest amount.

The hospital has the deepest pockets so they are the main target.
