You could be a:
- Case manager
- Youth worker
- Psychiatric technician
- Direct care/residence staff
- Habilitation worker/skills trainer
- Special needs camp counselor (some camps have year-round programming)
- Nursing home attendant
- Home health aide
- Crisis hotline worker
Plenty of jobs in human services only require a high school diploma or associate's degree. They don't pay particularly well, but it's great experience if you decide to continue your education later. (I feel like master's- and Ph.D.-level professionals should be required to put some time at lower-level positions before they get licensed. I did a couple of these jobs pre-master's, and although I didn't utterly love it, I'm glad I did it.)
