So I took the MCAT twice, got a 23 both times. Once was during a science heavy semester, the other was a few months after right after graduating and starting working full time. I underestimated practicing passages and I over estimated content review. I just used Princeton Review. My score break down was 6 PS, 8 BS, 9 VR on my first attempt and 4 PS, 9 BS, 10 VR.
Clearly my weakness is Physics and Gen Chem. I recently "inherited" the EK series and TBR. I've been using TBR content review, but I personally feel like I'm not getting much out of the chapters. I'll finish TBR content review, then the passages are challenging in a foreign way. I'll do an EK bio chapter, and the TBR passages for that are manageable. Now, is this due to my relative strength in the topic or my compatibility with EK's content review style?
I'm aiming for a score between 27-31. That being said I feel like TBR is geared toward people developing skills needed for 30+
Would it be more beneficial to read the shorter EK chapters and do more passage practice in PS topics?
