Is the AADSAS essay supposed to be only one page? Single spaced or double?
And do you cut/paste it online or attach a print out?

no more than 1000 words, not double spaced no specific format just indents when you make new paragraphs aadsas provides you with a space for it all you have to do is write a good essay and worry about gramar, spelling commans proper sentences and stuff as long as you have the basic format you're set!

I suggest that you create your essay in Word or Notepad and cut-n-paste into the application. The application actually counts the total number of characters and not words. The whole 1000 word restriction is based on an average of (I believe) 5 characters per word. If you use a lot of large words your acceptable essay word count will be much lower than if you use smaller ones. Thus your application may be 1000 words exactly or 945 and it probably will be rejected. As a result most essays end up between 900 and 950 words in length.
