Check out the content outline. 11 views. Memorize them. Maybe have your cardiac guys give you a quick refresher in the OR since you're not given static images during the test.
I would definitely memorize the TEE views and know the content outline as they will likely show up. I did a cardiac fellowship, so the questions were gimmes but definitely thought that a non-cardiac recent graduate who didn’t prepare for this portion would have struggled.
Views were not difficult if you just looked at them enough. There are few websites out there that gives you some practice examples. Also in the outline contents they have all the valvular/medical problems…. They used to even have links to those. Those are the ones that they test on. Just FYI.
