Hey y'all,
Current M4 who just matched internal medicine with an interest in cardiology! I was wondering if there were any academic cardiologists here who could talk about their lifestyle - preferably positions with 0-20% research. I'm really interested in staying and teaching once done with residency/fellowship, and was curious to how comparable the clinical workload is of academic cardiologists for 50% pay is to that of private cardiologists. If someone has experience in both and could outline the schedules of academic vs hospital employed that would be amazing!
