General Admissions & OTCAS Accepting an offer after placing a deposit somewhere else

I'm wondering how to go about releasing my position at one university due to being accepted to another program that's a better fit for me. Anyone have any insight?

just email admissions that you want to withdraw your application.. you don't need to give an explanation as to why you made your decision to withdraw. It would be polite to thank them for their time and for considering you as an applicant. I just went through this process, the only painful part was loosing my deposit at the school I withdrew from. hope this helps.
