How many exams should I buy? Would 3 be enough? Or should I buy 5? What do you guys think?

Just try to be realistic about how much time you'll have between studying and reviewing and taking the actual test. If you have the time, go for it.

Do you plan to allocate 9+ hours to study on those days? If so, sure.

Personally, I think that's too much and a waste of money unless you are really bad at managing your time during the test.

Taking a test in the morning, reviewing it thoroughly, going back and understanding the concepts you missed might be a better/cheaper strategy.
