Activities Ending

I know longevity in activities is very important, but a large number of my activities were in one location (where I attended school). Since I've moved back home, I've had to stop these activities. Will adcoms understand this? Moreover, is it okay to still list one or two of these as most meaningful, even though I'll be taking 2 gap years (and thus won't have engaged with them for a while)?
