Hi all,
I am currently looking to apply to MSW programs for fall of 2018.
The programs I am looking at applying to are:
University of Kansas- Edwards Campus
University of Maryland-Baltimore
Salem State University
Some social work programs offer clinical concentrations while others take an advance generalist perspective both years. From the MSW grads I have talked to who have worked in the field for a long time, I have gotten the impression that the practicum placements while in your MSW are more important than having a 'clinical' oriented program as far as preparing for clinical work goes. Is this true?
Also that being said, does anyone know about Salem state's reputation for producing strong clinical social workers?
And any suggestions for AFFORDABLE MSWs in the northeast with strong clinical reputations.
Thanks!
