So I summitted my application a little more than a month ago (yes I know it was really late). It was verified the next day. Since I've summitted several secondary applications. Today I randomly got an email from AMCAS saying my application has been updated and an error has been fixed. I honestly couldn't tell what is different and I'm confused why they randomly went back.

Does this mean a school reported back to AMCAS about an error in my application and AMCAS agreed and fixed it? Is this a bad sign?

It could have been something small and insignificant like an error on AMCAS part that failed to correctly classify and mark your application as U or R when your county is (or isn't) underserved and/or rural. It could be that they make quality control checks on applications or found a bug that incorrectly classified some counties and then went in and fixed the error.
