I am an Anesthesiologist looking for more information. Do you know of any literature or facilities/organizations that are proponents for Spinal and General anesthesia for hip surgeries? I've done one or the other before but never heard of doing both (smaller doses of anesthetic for each technique). Our orthopedic surgeons prefer both because of superior joint manipulation/maneuverability and has better outcomes under combine anesthetic technique. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.
