What is meant by use dependence speaking in context of class 1 anti arthymics
A) Is it ability of drug binding to cells that rapidly depolarize saying that, low use dependence means drug will not strongly bind rapidly depolarizing cells and vice versa

or

B)Is it ability of drug to bind and dissociate from the cell saying that, low use dependence means drug will bind and dissociate from the cell rapidly

Inputs are highly appreciated ,thankyou

It means A. Use dependence just means the drug preferentially binds the active state of the ion channel. Tissues that are rapidly depolarizing have more channels in the active state and hence the drug will bind more channels creating a greater effect

saying that ,class 1b drugs have low use dependence ie they are less likely to bind the cells that are actively depolarizing ,now making sense as ischemic tissues will not depolarize as rapidly as normal tissues and class 1c drugs have high use dependence will bind strongly to cells that are depolarizing actively so used as last sort for arrthymias ,plz correct me if my rationale is wrong
