Headline caught my eye. This is an association I hadn't expected. Have you guys seen anything suggesting this in your clinical practice?

From paper:
What is already known on this topic
  • Antidepressants and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are generally believed to each increase the risk of abnormal bleeding
  • However, very little is known about the risk of intracranial haemorrhage associated with the combined use of antidepressants and NSAIDs
What this study adds
  • Combined use of antidepressants and NSAIDs was associated with an increased risk of intracranial haemorrhage within 30 days of initial combination

Yea, oh what an epidemic. I cant tell you how many CVA's I've seen with antidepressants and
NSAIDs in career (actually zero). This is the FDA trying to look like they are vigilant after having
slept through a 30yr opioid epidemic.
