Had a 7x recurrent pterygium that we operated on the 8th time and one or two weeks post op it was looking angry, so we injected sub-conj Avastin. Only saw for about ~3mths, now obviously gone, but it went white and quiet and stayed so

Anecdotal of course but was interesting

I've heard similar anecdotes, and there have been some reports in the literature. Question is, how do you bill for it? I don't think insurance carriers are reimbursing for that indication at the present, but I may be wrong. I don't do cornea.
