Hello.
I “shadowed” around 80 hours at two clinics in a foreign country last year during a personal trip. Would those hours also count? Some people have told me they don’t count and told me to list them as volunteering hours instead if they had me do something at the clinic. I don’t know what to do. Any advice is appreciated

Probably won’t matter either way.

I’d probably list as the category I needed more hours in

Unless you plan on practicing in that “foreign” country and without any shadowing in the US, you will be clueless as to what domestic dental practice is like. Check the post on shadowing.

I have about 75 hours of shadowing done in the U.S. by now. I think I will report most of those foreign hours as volunteering since that’s where I need more hours
