Are cofactors usually regenerated after reaction just like enzymes are? Or are cofactors used up after a reaction?

Cofactors are recycled by metabolism as a whole, but not necessarily regenerated within the same reaction they were broken down in.

For example, ATP and NADH are constantly being broken down into ADP and NAD+ in some metabolic reactions, and at the same time being regenerated elsewhere in other reactions.

Oh I see thank you! Also, I didn't realize that ATP and NADH are a cofactor, always thought it was part of a substrate/product since they always appear in the overall reaction such as in glycolysis's,
glucose + 2 ADP + 2 Pi + 2 NAD + →2 pyruvate + 2 ATP + 2 H2O + 2 NADH + 2 H+
but they are actually regenerated elsewhere. Thank you!
