Are Quinnipiac University Netter School of Medicine students eligible for the HPSP scholarship?

I am curious if students from this school are eligible for the HPSP scholarship.

The school is currently listed as Accredited, preliminary status on the LCME website: https://www.lcme.org/directory.htm

Has anyone here had any experience with this type of issue?

So long as there is provisional accreditation, HPSP should pay for the school (at least it did back in 2003).

Jeez, just waiting for university of phoenix to open one up too. Where in the world are students from all these new schools going to do clinical rotations?

There are plenty of cities with big hospitals that could use medical schools (e.g., Jacksonville and Pensacola, Fl). What we need more than anything are more residency programs. This past year 8,000 applicants did not match.

How many PGY1 spots went unfilled? I imagine that some of those 8,000 were folks wanting ROAD, ortho, etc who just didn't get in and could have easily filled IM, FM, etc. I don't know the numbers though.

That 8,000 number includes IMGs, who are a little over 6,000 of the applicants without a PGY-1 match.
