Are there any countries were a US trained doc can work?

About me: US Citizen, US medschool, US residency, US fellowship, US board Certified, 4 years of experience as an attending in a US academic medical center in a surgical subspecialty.

I'm just sick of living in the US. No reason, just would like some more interesting life experience.

Does anyone know of any countries where someone with my credentials could work. I'm fine studying for exams, but I don't want to do any more residency.

I know working in other countries as a doc is highly restricted. Just figured I'd ask.

Well, I don't know about clinical stuff but you can teach in many countries.
I have a PhD and have taught Med School in Turkey and the Caribbean.
They were both interesting but Turkey job I described above was bizarre, the
way they played games with my paycheck. So make sure you have a rock solid contract before
you start, fighting back in a foreign land is not easy.

I'd assume most european countries? I know Sweden would take you as long as you pass a language test (Swedish), and a trial practice period.

Thanks. Sweden seems like it would be a great place to live. Unfortunately, I don't speak a word of Swedish.
