Are there any specific interesting opportunities in the summer in NYC for pre meds?

It's kind of a daunting task trying to find internships and volunteering in NYC over the summer because I have absolutely no idea where to start.
Is there any way I can see some sort of list of opportunities for things I may be interested in doing over the summer?
I'm looking mainly for things that would look good on a medical school application.

Yeah a bit late, had a really hectic semester.
I have basically infinite free time, with no preferences to borough.
Unfortunately, no research skills at the moment.

Your best bet may be to go to volunteermatch.org and look for "health & medicine" opportunities in NY. I saw hospices & hospitals plus health fairs. The job descriptions and amount of commitment are well spelled out.
