Old news, but I thought I would post it in case any of you are considering dentistry in Oz.

As of May this year all Oz dental schools are recognised in Canada, so no more need for the "bridging" program.

I couldn't find anything but this link, so if anyone as more uptodate links please post them in this thread:

Wonder what's happening in Canada at the moment, first GP, now Dentistry, after years of doing nothing?

Apparently this is not retroactive, so if you graduated prior to this date you may be out of luck.

Although it is "old news", I don't think enough people have heard about the agreement, and may have missed this years application cycle. Definitely exciting news for current and future students!

I'm hearing the canadian websites (NDEB, CDAC, etc.) will be updated by the end of the year.
 
It's pretty good news - just another option at the end of the road.
