Australian Resident wishing to do UK residency

Hi, I am currently a Aus medical resident (RMO) in one of the Australian Hospitals.

I know and met many doctors from UK moving to Australia to work. But, I have no idea whether it's possible for Australian doctors to work in UK.

Where can I start?
I have heard it is very difficult to get a job in UK for Australians as we are considered in lower category than EU residents?

Can you please point me in a right direction for information on working in UK
