No ones called b/c these institutions require residency Hence, my CV gets trashed. Nothing unclear there.

That sucks. Even the big hospitals use "preferred" wording for residency or "equivalent experience" for max flexibility in hiring.

Again, something's missing, and of all places to outright require residency...it would be in the San Francisco Bay Area.
