Hi

I am currently a medical student in the UK with 2 years to go. I am interested in moving to Norway at the end of University. I was wondering if anyone if anyone had any experience or advice. I gather it is necessary to pass OSCEs in norwegian and the Bergenstest language test. I know a little Norwegian now but will obviously have to put a lot of work into that. I was wondering it is possible to move to Norway for medical training straight after leaving university or if it would be better to wait. Another option I am considering for a Masters in Norway (in English) and using that as an opportunity to learn Norwegian as well. I was also wondering if any qualifications gained in Norway would be recognised in the UK if I was to return.

To my knowledge, those Scandinavian countries are open after specialization, not before. As a specialist if you want to work there, they also teach language. I dont know the details, but I hear it from someone who made a research about it. He was suggesting others, asking this point, to get in contact with and ask to a human resources company in those countries thats dealing with such job/professional matchs.
