I cannot advocate for this tool enough. It helped me immensely by calculating the actual cost of attending various dental schools by factoring projected salary, accrued interest, and different payment options. It's made by the Association of American Medical Colleges for medical students. Recently, they updated the calculator so that it can now be used for dentistry and other allied health professions.

What if you attended UPenn and took out the minimum amount of loans?

Student loans aren't your only expenses as a dentist. You have to consider operating costs and personal expenses including various insurances.

Thanks for the links. It's unfortunate that the images seem to have broken, but the links are great resources.
