Well I thought I would never say this but I enjoyed the BI training the navy just gave us. Learning when to speak out and step up when bad things are happening. The navy is really setting an environment of stepping up without fear of retribution. I have been at commands where raucous behavior was tolerated because of the good old boy system. I'm glad this old navy crap is dying in favor of speaking out and realizing no matter how shiny your bird is you are held to the same standards as others.

It actually was pretty good. I was surprised.

Don't say stuff like this. They'll only make us do more ...

Training and real world application are two completely different things.

Is it April 1st already? :)

Every once in a great while one of these mandatory "reminder to be nice to people" and/or "don't be a felon" shindigs turns out to be well run and even entertaining, not just the usual amateurish condescending timewasting dreck. Not something I'd attend on my own time without a direct order, mind you. But generally non-offensive.
