Hi everyone,

Long time lurker on WAMC and finally decided to post one of my own! I am applying this cycle and am looking for any advice/input on my application and chosen school list.

Stats: CA resident, ORM, >3.9 cGPA, >3.9 sGPA, 32 MCAT (balanced), traditional applicant

EC's:
- Research in autism (500+ hours): 2 posters, one 3rd author publication
- Research in ecology (150 hours): manuscript in progress
- Lab Assistant in Medical Research lab (175 hours)
- TA for lower div bioethics class (80 hours)
- Volunteer for well-known clinic (90 hours)
- Shadowing oncologist (100 hours)
- Held a one-year position in local government
- Developed a college workshop for high school students (summers only)
- Attended various conferences on biomedical research
- Student Orientation Leader
- Evaluations Assistant for science education programs

I have applied to the following schools, but am looking to see if I should add any others to maximize a chance for interview/acceptance. I'd appreciate any feedback regarding my application!

I've been told that my clinical activities are low at 100 hours of shadowing and 90 hours of volunteering. Is this something that I should be concerned about regarding my application?

It's borderline for accepted but not dealbreakingly low if you can speak confidently about what you learned.
