Can diffraction happen when the wavelength of light entering a single slit is longer than the width

Can diffraction occur when the wavelength of light entering a single slit is longer than the width of the slit?
So say if wavelength of the light is 0.006m and the width of the slit is 0.0000000000006m. Can diffraction still occur?

Isn't that when diffraction is supposed to occur?
