Canadian resident looking to study in Europe

Hi everyone, I am a Canadian resident looking to study medicine in Europe with the intention of returning to North America to do my residency and ultimately practice. Before researching schools I'd like to know the best resources to consult in order to determine the schools abroad that are accredited to write the local board exams (MCCQE and USMLE) and apply for residency as an IMG. My own research shows that in order to apply as an IMG, the school needs to be located on the World Medical School Directory. Is this the only resource to be considered? Or should other accreditations be considered as they pertain to local provinces and states? Thank you in advance.
