Canceling TY program interview

I have a TY program interview on Friday but it will be extremely inconvenient for me to get to it and I decided that I don't want to go there.

I know I should have figured this out earlier but will there be repercussions of cancelling 3 days before the interview?

You will reflect negatively on your school and run the risk of having the program send a letter to your dean and the program potentially not inviting anyone from your school next year. I hope you went on the interview. 3 days is not nearly enough notice and they probably had an empty seat that day. TYs are extremely competitive and there are many people on waitlists with zero TY interviews at this point.
