I am interested in pursuing a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship (CAP). Cursory glance at the job datbase's show plenty of adult psych jobs, but a very few pedi psych jobs - almost less than 1:10, i.e., for every 10 jobs of adults, less han 1 job for pedi psych. Now, if indeed severe shortage for pedi psych exists, then why is it not reflected in terms of job availability? BTW, I was looking at CareerMD and Healthcareers website.
