I don't get the rad onc one. Is the joke that they are out of the hospital early? Or is it that no one knows them because it's a small field that not many go into? Or is it that they were the people that no one knew in med school (aka never went to class, antisocial etc). just wondering what people here think, kind of a dumb question.

Ah, this was a classic cartoon.

I think it means no one outside of rad onc has any idea what the hell it is we do. Baha.

I really like the OBGYN and derm one.
 
No one knows what we do. Med students don't often do a radiation oncology rotation. The Rad Onc dept. was historically located in the deep, dark basement floor of the hospital, so no one would ever see us.
