according to crush step 3 ccs - they say to order CT-abdomen but best test is CT-angio abdomen

the Fred software doesn't have CT-angio abdomen (but CT-angio chest)

-what would you order for mesenteric ischemia on step 3 CCS software?

By and large you will not have to zebra-chase on the real thing. My best would be that a Ct-abdomen will be enough, the same way a ct-chest will find your pulmonary embolus.
Just don't forget to do all the appropriate coag profile, lipid panel, heparin, aspirin and the such if you find yourself dealing with such mayhem. The cases on the CCS are generally not zebralicious. When I took it there was a clear cut diagnosis in just about every case.... might have had one "fever without a source". And even there that might just have been me botching it.

if angio is not a choice, then CT abd

-iv insertion
-npo
-lactate, cbc, bmp, ptt,inr
-ct abd
-pain control
-surgery consult

case probably ends.
