It has been my experience in hospital management that it is harder to find a competent individual to manage sterilization than to do phlebotomy. However, you should search your local job market before making a decision. So I am a Psych/pre-med student at UTA and I am thinking about getting a certification in a Sterile technician or Phlebotomy. I don't know which one is better to get. I want a hospital job that makes a good money as well get experience in medical school. What is the best decision for getting a certification?
Either will provide you hands-on experience in clinical medicine.
