Long time lurker but first time poster here.

So MCAT scores came back today and I wanted some advice regarding my chances at a US MD. I would also appreciate some ideas as to which schools I should apply to. I've consulted mdapps but I'm always interested in second opinions

Here are the numbers/stats:

MCAT: 36 (14P, 9V, 13B)

cGPA/sGPA both 4.0

Some ECs that I've done:
-Clinical volunteering in childrens hospital for two years
-ED volunteering for a summer
-Research internship at a biotech (in the US) for a year
-Summer Research scholarship at my undergrad
-Spent two weeks in Mexico on a volunteer abroad program organized by school
-Academic tutor for chemistry at school (paid)
-Orientations leader for incoming freshmen during start of year
-Did a year long directed studies research project during my junior year.

No club membership or exec positions, though...

Im interested in applying to the US in particular for MD/PhD programs. All in all I have about 3 years of solid research experience. But do you think this may be too ambitious considering my international status?

Also I am really worried about that 9 in the verbal but am definitely not retaking. How do you think this may hurt me?

Sorry for the long post; but more info means better advice amiright?

Cheers
